Welcome! Here are a few things you might want to know about our wedding at Silver Oaks. If you have more questions, don’t hesitate to reach out!
When and where is the wedding?
Our wedding will be on Friday, September 25th, 2026 at Silver Oaks Chateau in Grey Summit, MO. Both the ceremony and the reception will be held at the venue.
Is there a dress code?
We suggest semi-formal to formal attire.
Are children invited?
We love your little ones, but we have decided to keep our celebration an adults-only event (outside of our immediate family). We appreciate your understanding and hope you can enjoy the night off with us!
What's on the Menu?
Our catering staff is preparing a buffet-style meal featuring appetizers, salads, Chicken Piccata, Beef Spedini, and of course, dessert! We are planning gluten-free and dairy-free options, and will have vegetarian plated meals available upon request. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP or by reaching out to us directly!
Will there be a bar?
Yes, and the drinks are on us! An open bar with a selection of beer, wine, and spirits will be available throughout the evening to help us celebrate.
Where should we stay?
We’ve reserved a block of rooms at nearby hotels to make your stay as easy as possible. We encourage you to book early to take advantage of the discounted group rates! You can find specific hotel names, booking links, and Airbnbs suggestions on our Travel page.
Do I need to RSVP?
Yes, please! An RSVP is required for all guests so we can coordinate seating and catering. Please let us know if you can make it by August 1st, 2026.
Is there a registry?
Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can find more details on our registry page, but please know that gifts are completely optional.
How do I get to the venue?
Silver Oaks Chateau has plenty of parking on site for those driving. While we are not providing a shuttle, ride share services (Uber/Lyft) do operate in the area.
Can I bring a plus-one?
If your invite includes a plus-one, it will be noted. If you have questions on this, reach out to us!
Other helpful details
The ceremony and reception are at the same location, no travel required!
Since the wedding is on a Friday, consider booking your hotel for Thursday night if you are coming from out of town.
Dinner, drinks, and plenty of dancing will follow the ceremony.
